King of the Birds, Lord of the Skies

King of the Birds, Lord of the Skies
Gather ye rose buds while ye may, old time is still a flying;
and this same rose that you see today, tomorrow will be dying.

Do the very BEST

"I do the very best I know how - the very best I can; and mean to keep doing so until the end. If the end brings me out all right, what is said against me won't amount to anything."

Abraham Lincoln
1809-1865,
16th President of the USA

Books I Read

"The things I want to know are in books; my best friend is the man who'll get me a book I ain't read."
-Abraham Lincoln

"There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate's loot on Treasure Island... and best of all, you can enjoy these riches every day of your life."
- Walt Disney

"It isn't what the book costs; it's what it will cost if you don't read it."
- Jim Rohn

The latest book I came into possession is 'Dare to be Different' by Alessandro Forte. I will put up some summarised ideas once I am done with it. As of now, I am one-fifth the way there. Good stuff! This is one book that I highly recommend if you want to soar like an eagle in your business, & if your business is in the financial industry, man, please own your own copy. Mine is not for lease, gift, rental, borrow, or copy.

Independence

"Familiarize yourself with the chains of bondage & you prepare your own limbs to wear them. Accustomed to trample on the rights of others, you have lost the genius of your own independence & become the fit subjects of the first cunning tyrant who rises among you."

- Abraham Lincoln
1809-1865
16th US President

Resolve to Succeed

Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.

And in the end it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years that matters.

Get Stuck with Determination

There is one that you must have if you're going to create lasting value in this world. It will dictate how you deal with upsets and challenges, with disappointment and disillusionments. Determination means the difference between being stuck and being struck with the lightning power of commitment. If you want to get yourself to lose weight, make those business calls, or follow through on anything, "pushing" yourself won't do it. Putting yourself in a state of determination will. All your actions will spring from that source, and you'll just automatically do whatever it takes to accomplish your aim. Acting with determination means making a congruent, committed decision where you're cut off any other possibility.
With determination, you can accomplish anything. Without it, you're doomed to frustration and disappointment.
Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing.
