Love Letter

My Dear Wife,

I bless you for speaking your mind. I know we don't always agree on every issue, but that only means we each have a mind of our own. And that makes life a lot more interesting. I know, too, that sometimes there can be more than one right answer or more than one right way of doing something. Sometimes the best answers come from approaching problems from different angles. One person wisely said, "If we always agreed on everything, then one of us would be unnecessary." And we are both very necessary.

So, my darling, let's agree to disagree, without been disagreeable. Let's do it in peace. Let's welcome some lively discussions, enjoy a good debate, and practice active listening skills. I know there is much I can learn from you. So I promise to be respectful of your ideas and opinions. In the same way, I hope you will respect mine. Afterall, two heads are better than one.

As iron sharpens iron, so one sharpens the other. I pray that God will teach me to respect and value your opinions and views, even when it differs from my own.

Because I Love You,

Your Husband.
